Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. The user is legally obligated to return used batteries as the end user. After use, the user can return batteries free of charge to the point of sale or in its immediate vicinity (e.g. at municipal collection points or in retail stores). The user also has the option to return batteries by mail. The user can contact his installation company to take back the batteries.

Batteries or accumulators containing harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can. Near the garbage can symbol is the chemical name of the pollutant.

Explanation: Cd stands for cadmium, Pb for lead and Hg for mercury.
